I just finished my Registration to become an Allied Member of the Alberta LGBT Chamber of Commerce
I am proud to do my best to help serve the community to the best of my ability, no matter who they are.
Did you know that the very first Wedding that I ever performed by myself was to a super nice same-sex couple, Kyra and Sheena Petrie.
The only slightly awkward moment for me was during one of our planning meetings when it came time to talk about the Boquet / Garter Toss. I looked at them and said... Soooo, how's this gonna work? They looked at each other, thought about it for a moment and said, we'll just toss them into the crowd and whoever catches them, catches them.
It was a really fun night, one I'll never forget.
